Photo ID Requirements & Appointments |
❈ VALID PHOTO ID is required for all piercings. If you are 18 years or older, just bring your valid State ID, Driver’s License, Passport, or other valid government issued photo ID with you when you come in.
❈ MINOR POLICY: We only tattoo and pierce minors with parent or legal guardian present, and with proper photo identification. We must have a photo ID for the minor as well. If the last names and addresses on the ID’s do not match for the parent and child we must also have the birth certificate. If you are unsure what photo ID we may accept or what to bring, please give us a call or stop in so we can assist.
❈ Please leave a message in the NOTE section when you book an appointment online with some information (let us know what piercing you are interested in getting, or if it’s a jewelry change, etc.).
❈ We take walk-ins when possible but the best way to guarantee your time is to make an appointment with a non-refundable $15 deposit here on the website. If you need to reschedule an appointment for piercing services please try to give us a call at least an hour before the appointment to give someone else a chance to book that time. You can reschedule up to 3 times before you lose your deposit.

❈ Bodystain only uses the best implant grade titanium, steel, and 14KT gold jewelry for all piercings. All of our threaded jewelry is internally threaded and our gemstones are hand-set. We carry a large selection of high-quality jewelry and organics. Give us a call or stop in to see if we have what you’re looking for!
❈ Bodystain has never used piercing guns, and will never recommend them to clients. We use new tri-bevel needles with every piercing. We are Ohio Department of Health compliant including weekly spore tests and yearly Bloodborne Pathogen certifications for all crew members. |

Piercing & Jewelry Prices

❈ The Health Department does not allow shops to use outside jewelry for piercings.
❈ Prices are estimated based on Titanium jewelry and will change if you select different jewelry than in the chart. If you would like to purchase a 14KT gold top for your piercing, you can view options and discuss price in the shop. We have a lot of variety to choose from!
❈ Total cost is calculated by adding our piercing fee to the cost of your jewelry. See the photo below to view some of the piercings we perform with basic jewelry. Remember your total cost will increase if you decide to use different jewelry than what is listed. You will always know your total before we perform any service!

❈ Jewelry Changes are FREE if it’s OUR jewelry going IN or coming OUT. If it’s outside jewelry all around, the cost is $5.
❈ Tapering is a FREE process where we use a tool (called a taper) to see if a piercing is still open or if it has fully closed. Just because you couldn’t get jewelry in doesn’t mean we can’t! If your jewelry does not go in easily at home stop in so we can assist you.
❈ Lobe Stretching is FREE with us if you purchase the jewelry here. If we’re stretching your lobes and using outside jewelry the cost is $10.
❈ Curation is a service we provide for FREE during your piercing appointment. All clients may ask about piercing or jewelry recommendations based on their anatomy or current jewelry setup. If you would like more time simply book two appointments so you can have more time with your piercer. You can book a piercing appointment for a curation session, even if you’re not getting a new piercing.
*Note that your $15 deposit for each appointment is deducted from your total at checkout but is non-refundable if you change your mind or do not show up.
